The problem
A four-year-old can’t read a menu, most kids’ apps monetize attention with ads and dark patterns, and “educational” content is rarely reviewed by anyone who knows the child. Failure states punish exactly the kids who most need encouragement.
What it is
BrainVenture is an iPad game where every screen talks, so a pre-reader never needs a reader in the room. Brainy the owl guides a daily adventure — with a goal of 15–30 minutes of reading, writing, and core-skills practice. Wrong answers wiggle, hint, and teach: no X’s, no buzzers, no timers.
