BrainVenture

Family beta

A family learning adventure.

A self-narrating learning adventure for young kids — every screen talks, and wrong answers teach.

What it is

BrainVenture is a fixed-frame iPad game where every screen talks — pre-rendered narration plays on entry, so a pre-reader never needs a reader in the room. A daily adventure builds about 35 minutes of play across Reading, Writing, Math, and Science, closed with a short kindness practice, guided by Brainy the owl. Nothing reaches a kid’s screen that a parent hasn’t reviewed: AI helps draft, humans publish. Wrong answers wiggle, hint, and teach — no X’s, no buzzers, no timers.

Who it’s for

Young kids — including pre-readers — who need daily, structured practice in reading, writing, math, and science, and parents who want to know what’s actually being learned.

The problem

A four-year-old can’t read a menu, most kids’ apps monetize attention with ads and dark patterns, and “educational” content is rarely reviewed by anyone who knows the child. Failure states punish exactly the kids who most need encouragement.

Why it’s different

  1. 01

Every kid-visible item is human-reviewed before publish — AI drafts offline, never live into a kid’s session.

  2. 02

Fully narrated: a pre-reader can use the entire app independently.

  3. 03

Kind failure as an engine-level contract — unlimited retries, scaffolded hints, no failure states.

  4. 04

A real curriculum spine, preK through 4th grade, with mastery tracking and a remediation tail.

Where it stands

A working family beta, built for our own kids and in daily family use. Not yet available to the public — accounts, parental controls, and the compliance work a kids’ product deserves come before any wider release.

BrainVenture is structured to operate — and transact — independently under MACH Ventures: its own brand, its own codebase, its own infrastructure.
